  Beach area on the river. Parking area a bit rough. Beach on the river may be larger this year as river seems low but this would have been awesome location to go to earlier in the summer. Short walk from the parking area to the beach. Friend said it used to be called "bare ass beach" when people used to ran in the nude. None tanning in nude when we were there.....lol.

  Great place to go enjoy a warm day at a beach and chill out on the river! This place is also known as "Bare Ass Beach", there is the occasional nude sun bather... mostly older gentlemen. Unfortunately there are some people who wreck the place by leaving garbage and bottles / cans all over.

  Great getaway beach from the city! The turnoff to the parking lot is a bit hidden so it's easy to miss. Good sized parking lot and there's a huge garbage bin too.

  This place is amazing. Just don't be disrespectful to nature and learn to throw away your garbage. This isn't a government maintained or city maintained place. It's just a sand bar on the side of the river. So keep it clean or it'll be gone .
